Artist's Description
In 1967, en route from Sydney, Australia to Genoa, Italy the crew of the Galileo Galilei went on strike, leaving passengers with unplanned time in Singapore. The artist explored the streets, was mugged by monkeys at Tiger Balm Gardens, and had a meal at the Raffles Hotel with his young family. This painting was completed in England in April, 1967 and is one of the only early paintings in the artist's private collection.
