Artist's Description
I must confess I don't know what sort of bird this is - maybe someone who knows their raptors could identify it for me? He has always loved the birds of prey and as a boy wanted a falcon of his own. Actually, I think if someone gave him a raptor today, he probably wouldn't say no! They are glorious birds and I think this painting captures something of their fierce beauty.
